The minimum age for the admission for MBBS is seventeen (17) years old as on date of admission.

2. Eligibility :

The student should have completed the qualifying examination of an Intermediate Level i.e. 10+2 in science or equivalent examination acceptable to Kathmandu University with minimum 50% marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in aggregate and 50% marks in entire qualifying examination.

3. Selection :

1. Nepalese students must qualify at the KUMET conducted by Kathamndu University in July - August.
2. Indian and other expatriate : The admission is strictly based on merit. The merit is determined by the marks obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) and the marks obtained in the interview. Since the seats are limited. "First come first serve" policy is adopted.

Interview is conducted at  Nepalgunj Medical College Teaching Hospital Nepalgunj Campus at MD, Office . The candidates shall bear their own expenses when called for an interview. The students must give complete address, telephone number, fax number (if any) and e mail address in the application form to facilitate the communication regarding admission.

4. Visa :

The candidates other than Indian nationals will require visa to enter Nepal. The college will help to obtain residential visa once the student is admitted.
