Introduction 

 

Nepalgunj Medical College Teaching Hospital (NGMCTH) is situated in Banke district in Western Nepal. It is managed by Lord Buddha Educational Academy Ltd. L.B.E.A was established in the year 2053 B.S. (1996 A.D.) by Founder Chairman Mr. Mukunda Bhakta Shrestha and Managing Director Dr. Suresh Kumar Kanodia, to fulfill the mere objective of developing the nation by imparting excellence in the Medical Education sector. Group of renowned entrepreneurs and Medical professionals joined hands to create Nepalgunj Medical College.  

It has 1050 bedded Teaching Hospital

MBBS Programme started in Dec 1997

Session starts in August.

Post Graduate programme has been started since 2007. Now we have PG students in the department of General Surgery, Gyane & Obs., Medicine, Pediatrics, ENT, Radiology, Anesthesiology, Ophthalmology, Pathology and orthopedics. 29 PG students all together are studying at NGMC under Kathmandu University.

 

NGMC graduates are presently working/studying/ serving in Nepal, India, USA, UK, Australia and  other Countries. 

  • In side college campus, hostel facilities are available for all undergraduate and post  graduate students.
  • Girls and Boys hostels separate.
  • Accommodation for working doctors.
  • A vast campus area (includes Basic Science campus, Teaching hospitals, Nursing campus etc.)
  • Total land area 6,569,654 sq.ft.
