Objective of Medical Curriculum

The objective of the curriculum for MBBS degree is to produce a well qualified medical graduate who on completion of five and half years ( including one year internship) of the undergraduate medical education program will be competent to carry out the clinical, preventive and promotive and rehabilitative roles of a physician.


Course of study for MBBS

4.5 years, Ix semesters programme

Part I : Basic science phase : I to IV semester

  •          Microbiology

Part II : Clinical phase : V to IX semester

  •          Pediatrics
  •          Orthopedics
  •          Anesthesiology
  •          Dermatology
  •          Ophthalmology
  •          ENT
  •          Forensic medicine
  •          Community Medicine
  •          Radiology
  •          Psychiatry

Note : After passing final MBBS exam, one year compulsory rotatory internship program.
